Tiger Foray

TIGER FORAY is an exploration into identity through hand-dyed textiles, soft sculpture and pattern design. Tigers connect me to my Asian "Hakka" heritage. They symbolize courage, respect and leadership. Also, the lesbian flag includes orange stripes, the darkest of which represents gender nonconformity. Tigers remind me of the identity I worked hard to discover and I work harder to protect.
